FROM UKRAINE TO THE USA“Where are you from?” It’s one of the questions I get asked most often in Silicon Valley. The moment I respond “I’m from Ukraine” it always reminds me that ever since I was a little girl I had big dreams.
Several years ago, my husband and I moved to the SF Bay Area, where shortly after I became a Lead Product Designer. But what is my next dream? To build meaningful mobile experiences for fast-moving industries.
GOAL
The future is hereMy goal is to design seamless mobile applications for users that will interact with the cars of the future.
Sport taught me to be an ambitious and competitive person, I think that will help me to reach my goals.
EDUCATION
Master's DegreeFollowing my graduation with a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics in Ukraine, Kharkiv, I decided to study design at the British Higher School of Art and Design.
While design is my passion and career, my background in mathematics allows me to understand the backend of business and communicate well with developers.
EXPERIENCE
10+ yearsAfter working as a graphic and product designer for several years in Europe, we moved to the US and in 2018 I began working at Zultys as a solo Product Designer. Since then, after stepping into the Lead Product Designer role, I’ve helped build up and support my team through the entire process.
Currently, I'm working on building a Design System for Google Search.
